I got an email about 2 days ago from Nintendo telling me that NHL 2K9 is coming to Wii. I, being a big hockey fan, was really happy about this news as i’ve been waiting about almost 2 years for a NHL game to come to Wii. I’ve read through some of the features the game has and so far it sounds incredible. It looks like they’re going to be incorporating a lot of the motion sensing of the Wii into the game. These include Wiimote shooting with wristshots being a flick of a wrist and slap shot includes holding the B button while flicking the Wii Remote.
A very interesting feature is the Wii Remote Fighting and the following details are from the Nintendo site “Adding a never-before-seen layer of fun to hockey video games, NHL 2K9 features on-ice showdowns. When two players have raised their aggression enough to fight, pointing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller downward drops the gloves. Once a fight has started, punch with the Nunchuk and balance with the Wii Remote to get your opponent off their feet.”
NHL 2K9 is due out on September 9th, 2008 so all you hockey fans out there dying for a hockey game for Wii make sure you pre-order this one

Nintendo these days are facing some troubles in the legal world. Recently Nintendo lost a bid to overturn a $21 million patent-infringement verdict therefore facing a ban on sales of the Wavebird, Classic Controller, and Nintendo GameCube controller for the Wii and GameCube.
This case was won by Anascape Ltd and a new trial requested by Nintendo was denied by the Judge. Though, the ban so far has been put on hold for the appeal of Nintendo to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
“Nintendo was already planning to appeal this case to the Federal Circuit court,” Nintendo spokesman Charlie Scibetta said in an e-mailed statement. “The recent ruling by the trial court does not impact that decision.”
Since Wiimote and Nunchuck don’t infringe the patent there shouldn’t be any worries of them being banned.

Well… the conversion of the mybb theme to wordpress theme has begun and so far it’s been quite stressful. This is my first theme and conversion i’m done so the source code right now is mixed up. However i’m starting to get an idea of everything especially CSS (which i’m a noob at..xD).
Here’s a little screenie of what i’ve coded so far…

Like i said.. it’s very clutter right now but i’m in the process of fixing them and hopefully i’ll be done soon!
As a side note, i’ve learned many things while doing this conversion and once i’m done i don’t plan to stop. Soon after i’m done this conversion i plan on creating some mybb themes with a Wiidebate copright so that means hopefully each theme will bring us more traffic. More traffic=more members..=D
